Fix the Waste

“Fix the Waste. Focus on What Matters.”

While potholes go unfilled, traffic issues persist, and essential services are delayed, property taxes keep going up.

As your councillor, I’ll bring a results-driven focus to improving how the City operates. Here’s what I’ll champion:

✅ Expand Cost-Saving Initiatives
Programs like Calgary’s SAVE initiative prove we can find millions in savings without cutting frontline services. Cost-saving strategies can work with the help of City administration. City council needs to push for regular performance reviews, accountability checks and an efficiency audits.
✅ Fix Inefficient Systems
From slow permitting timelines to overly complex internal workflows, outdated processes are holding our city back. We need to modernize how the City does business—cutting red tape, embracing technology, and making service delivery faster and more reliable for residents and businesses.
✅ Consider Alternative Service Delivery
In many cities, privatizing certain services—like waste collection or facility maintenance—has delivered better value for residents. It’s not about ideology; it’s about outcomes. If partnering with private providers can save taxpayers money and improve service, we must be open to it.
Calgarians deserve a City Hall that works for them—not against them.
Fiscal responsibility starts with fixing what’s just not working. Let’s stop the waste, protect core services, and get Calgary back on track.
